Private Message to Finnigan
Monty says you've been looking for ways to make yourself useful.
Have a job for you later today, if you're interested. I'll be out on some rounds but Karo could use a fresh face to smile at the crowds. Nothing to it. Tell them how everything's going to be just fine if we can only achieve some law and order, and stop those rebels up north. Hand out some biscuits or a bit of gold and off they go, secure in the knowledge that their government truly cares.
If you think you can manage it. Cheer up. From what I hear, you're one of the better recruits to come along in a year or three. Keep your wits about you and you could step into nearly anyone's shoes, the way things are now. Only don't go getting ideas about my job, ha.
Crispin's helping, too, you could catch up on old times. Wasn't he your sponsor?

And yeah. Mr Crispin was my sponsor.

She tried to take Lucy and Malcolm out with her day before yesterday (I think?) and had to send them back indoors. Well, Luce anywiz. Difficult to blame the kid, losing about a third of her mates like that.
Actually, might do to put her on WWN, all tears, about how awful the Phoenixes were to slaughter everyone. Or grant a Prophet article. What do you think?

If she'll say it. Will she?
no subject
She'll say whatever we tell her to say.

I just wanted to make sure.

I'm not talking about torturing the girl, Finnigan, it's not as if it's going to hurt.
no subject
And no. It's not going to hurt. Quite the opposite.

But I agree. A nice photo to go with it, that'll do nicely.
I'll talk to her mother about it tonight. Cheers.

So hopefully we're telling people about that message from Harry, who had already declared he was one of the traitors.

We could clearly have resolved the situation peacefully, without any need for bloodshed, if they hadn't come in, wands flaring, trying to kill everyone on Potter's orders.

By the way, in Ireland we never got the muggles properly under control -- the initial Sleeper spell didn't work properly. So if you'd like, I could talk about what we're facing, if the traitors succeed in loosing those animals on the rest of us. (Are we still calling them 'the traitors'? I've heard Montague refer to them as the Phoenix, but that seems ... I mean, phoenixes themselves are kind of nift, you know?)

Yes, if you're interested in becoming a spokeswizard, we have an opening, in fact. Tell you what, you talk with Crispin this afternoon and later on, we'll think about how to put you to work for us on a more official basis. It won't interfere with field operations, don't worry about that. In fact, you might have more of them as a result. Get you out of the palace, won't that be nice.

Thank you.
